Commissions are a chance to create something truly personal for you. Whether it’s a portrait, a landscape, a still life, or a piece that celebrates a special memory or milestone. I work closely with each client to understand your vision, your story, and the emotions you want the artwork to convey.

Every piece is thoughtfully crafted with attention to detail, reflecting both your ideas and my artistic touch. From the first sketch to the finished painting, my goal is to create art that resonates and becomes a meaningful part of your space.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I primarily create landscapes and still lifes, but I also take on individual portraits, houses, landmarks, and pet portraits. Portrait commissions are subject to discretion. I want to make sure I can do justice to the subject, so I may decline some family or complex portrait requests.

I work best in acrylic, watercolor, linoleum printmaking, and graphite/charcoal, and I prefer to work from photographic reference images. Please note that I do not work in abstract art, sculpture, or digital media, and I only create original pieces. Commissions using copyrighted or stolen images cannot be accepted. My goal is to create original, meaningful pieces that reflect your vision while staying true to my own artistic practice.

  • Pricing varies based on size, complexity, and medium. After discussing your idea, I provide a detailed quote before starting.

  • Yes. To reserve your commission, a deposit is required before work begins. This ensures your spot in my schedule and allows me to start planning your piece. The deposit amount is typically 50% of the total commission price, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

  • I am typically booked 3–6 months in advance, so it’s best to request a commission as early as possible. This allows us time to discuss your ideas, plan the piece, and schedule it into my workflow. For clients who need a piece completed on a shorter timeline, rush commissions may be available for an additional $150, though availability is limited. Planning ahead ensures your commission receives the time and attention it deserves.

  • Timing depends on the size, current availability, and complexity. Small pieces usually take 2–4 weeks, while larger or detailed works may take 6–10 weeks. I’ll confirm a timeline before starting, so you know what to expect.

For clients who need a piece completed on an expedited timeline, a rush fee of $150 will apply.

  • I provide opportunities for feedback during the sketch or draft stage. Once the final painting is underway, changes are limited, so it’s best to finalize details before painting begins.

  • Yes! I can create custom artwork on wine or liquor bottles. Please note that, due to legal restrictions, I can only accept local commissions in the Stuart or Orlando area, as I am unable to ship bottles. All pieces must be picked up or delivered locally.

  • While commissioned pieces are delivered unframed by default, I can arrange professional framing for an additional cost. I’ll work with you to select a frame that complements the artwork and suits your space, making sure the finished piece is ready to display.

  • Yes! I can ship artwork safely to your location, or local pickup/delivery can be arranged. Shipping costs are calculated separately based on your location.

  • I accept a variety of payment methods for your convenience, including cash, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and Cash App.

  • All commissioned artwork remains the intellectual property of the artist. The original piece is for your personal use, display, or gifting. Selling prints, reproducing, or using the artwork commercially is not permitted.

All artwork is original and created for personal use only. I reserve the right to decline any commission based on subject, style, or other factors. Rush fees or local restrictions may apply.
